Passion People begins as a series of fictional portraits exploring dreams, wishes, and curiosity. Some of the figures are isolated in reflection whilst others reach out for interaction. Passion People has become an exploration in nonverbal communication. For me, the act of painting the Passion People continues to be a journey full of unexpected twists, rushes of energy, and moments of peaceful balance. I view the layers of painted color as the moments in life that have created a human personality. I am fascinated with the process of painting, and exploring the wonderful complexities, which make us human.
