I believe that every one of us is an artist in our own field and we need inspiration to succeed. Emotion, thought, and design are inspired by art . I enjoy creating art that inspires the mind, on a conscious or subconscious level, to grow and feel lifted to a higher level. What interests me most about creating art is my ability to communicate with others on several emotional levels.
In my discipline, I create art through the use of metal, primarily steel, copper, silver, gold, fused glass, and minerals. My background consists of studies at several Colleges and Universities, drawing and history in Italy , classes at Revere School of Goldsmithing, 30 years experience in metal fabrication, teaching, and working in arts and retail management. Creating jewelry and sculpture has been a remarkable growth process, which will continue through my jewelry teaching at Sierra College in Sacramento , California .
