Area Artist Deidre Trudeau , a 17 year Roseville resident and 4yr artist in residence at the Artful i Studio Gallery. Deidre is a painter whose experimental nature, prefers working in built-up layers of watery acrylics on various degrees of textured canvas and wood panels, resulting in a unique luminescence. “With my art, I like to counter the chaos of life with simplicity and balanced interest. Most of my pieces have the common thread of large, simple shapes and interesting textures.” Her works been celebrated Mass, NY, Oakland and the Greater Sacramento area of California . Besides designing and hosting art shows by well over 100 area artists, Trudeau offers much of her time and knowledge to the development of local art scenes and many regional organizations.
